The bb hole in the top left of the glass unit is the entry point for moisture. The water has to go somewhere once it's in the double glazed window. Gravity pulls it to the bottom of the window. The seals eventually breakdown and allows the water to leak out. This causes the rot you see in the bottom left. This is why you should be diligent in keeping your double glazed wood windows in great shape.
