Check your self! The heat is no joke and the human body will dehydrat fast. We will sweat to keep cool and that takes a lot of water and minerals out of the body. To avoid heat stroke stay in the shade as much as you can and cool down often. DO NOT run cold water over your head before you cool down. This can cause shock and cause you serious damage.

I wanted to let the nay sayers to see the check. I have been a part of the Neilson and Harris Poll for over 10 years. I have earned points for "stuff " and I was invited to attend a survey that paid real money. I was told that I was foolish to think that I would get paid. Well here is the check...

Mount Vernon 143 had a very good chicken pie for dinner. The crust was a little dark, however the pie was good. I do not believe that there was much left. I see a change in the menu for the better. Looking like the BBQ and hotdogs that so frequently adorned our table will be less often seen. All is good.

Well it is a few days early and I am very happy to have my new rings. Mum passed away in October and gave me some of her gold jewelry. Some broken and other things out dated and worth the gold value. Judy, my lovely wife suggested that I use the gold to have my dream ring made. I worked with a very talented silver and goldsmith to create these masterpieces. The gold from mum's jewelry was very good and made a great casting after the goldsmith cleaned it and added a bit of alloy to reinforce it to ring karat. Thank you Mum and Judy!

The best laid plans often go off track for reasons beyond anyone's control. The plan was to remove both showers and install the new enclosures all in one day. Something that we have done on several occasions with great success. We discovered that the cultured marble in the master bathroom was not attached to the wall anymore. We had to use a adhesive made for this type of application. Due to the heavy bead of adhesive it took a couple days to set up properly. Then we learned that the tempering oven had gone down during the manufacturing of this unit. Although it is believed to be safe, we chose to have the panels remade. We are not willing to to cut corners when it comes to safety. The end result is a very beautiful shower enclosure in each bathroom and a happy customer.
